MEET MALCOLM

One tutor, personally invested in every lesson.

I’m Malcolm Charangwa, the tutor behind MC Tutoring Group. I’m a Neuroscience PhD researcher at the University of Bristol, and I use the same structured thinking from my research to help GCSE students make sense of difficult material.

I tutor because the best feeling is seeing a topic move from “I don’t get it” to a student being able to explain it back in their own words. My job is not to make revision louder or more stressful; it is to make the next piece of work feel possible.

Teaching that is used every week

Alongside GCSE tutoring, I guide undergraduate students as a laboratory demonstrator. It has taught me to notice when someone is stuck, simplify the next step and make room for questions without judgment.

Built for an online screen

Lessons run on Microsoft Teams using a shared screen, tailored PowerPoint material and a drawing tablet for worked examples. Parents can arrange an initial enquiry call before deciding on regular bookings.
